All-new 2018 Outlander PHEV and Eclipse Cross help SUV sales jump by 78%
Mississauga, ON – April 3, 2018 – With 2,636 deliveries during the month of March, Mitsubishi Motor Sales of Canada achieved its best March sales ever with a total sales increase of 39 per cent over last March closing out the best fiscal sales performance in company history.
Mitsubishi Motors’ sport utility sales surged by 78 per cent led by 790 deliveries of the Mitsubishi RVR compact crossover, followed by 649 Outlander sales. The company’s newest vehicles, the all-new Outlander PHEV and all-new Eclipse Cross, which started to contribute to substantial growth in showroom traffic last quarter, accounted for about one third of total SUV sales with 351 and 294 units sold in the month respectively.

The Lancer family of sedans reached 331 sales last month, while the Mirage hatchback and G4 sedans combined for 218 deliveries.
