• First half fiscal year sales up 83%

• Outlander sales of 64 % in quarter
Mississauga, ON – October 1, 2021– Mitsubishi Motor Sales of Canada reports strong sales increases in it the first half of its fiscal year with 13,256, an increase 83 per cent year over year and for the quarter 5,967 vehicles were delivered, an increase of 35 per cent.
The Mitsubishi RVR led quarter sales with 2,351 sold, an increase of 102 per cent compared to same quarter last year. The all-new 2022 Outlander, recently awarded the IIHS Top Safety Pick designation, notched 2,046 sales, a 64 per cent increase year over year. Mitsubishi delivered 863 Eclipse Cross between July to September, 573 Outlander PHEV and 134 Mirage to round out quarterly sales.
In fiscal 2021 (beginning April 2021), Mitsubishi Motors began a significant product transformation with every vehicle in its lineup refreshed or all-new including its flagship the all- new 2022 Outlander which was completely redesigned from the ground up. It is Mitsubishi’s best-equipped vehicle ever built.
