Mirage is a top value choice.
New contemporary exciting styling.
By spring of 2021, Mitsubishi Motor Sales of Canada will transform its lineup including launching an all-new, ground-up Outlander, proof of the company’s commitment to deliver high quality, top value, leading-edge technology vehicles in Canada. In addition, popular features and added value across the entire lineup, with key active safety features available on all nameplates, will underpin the revisions.
The Mirage has undergone a head turning makeover demonstrating that the brand means both high tech and high style.
The whole front of the car ahead of the windshield has been totally redesigned with the signature Mitsubishi Dynamic Shield, bringing a sense of motion, protection and craftsmanship. The square grille lines with its horizontal/vertical bar pattern, give the front end a more powerful and sharper look. At the rear with a new, wider and sharper bumper, the car looks lower and wider with a renewed sense of proportion further enhanced by the design of the new rear L-shaped (LED) tail lamps.
The Mirage marks 2021 with new interior seat fabric and new colours – Diamond White and Sand Yellow – adding appeal and cachet.
Responsive Horsepower for Efficient Driving
The 2021 Mirage continues to utilize a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder DOHC engine featuring the latest version of Mitsubishi Innovative Valve timing Electronic Control (MIVEC) variable valve-timing system that maximizes fuel efficiency and power output while greatly minimizing exhaust emissions.
Mirage offers drivers a standard and efficient inline-three-cylinder engine that produces 78 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 74 lb.-ft torque at 4,000 rpm.
Features drivers want today

The ES CVT adds Mitsubishi’s CVT to provide its industry leading combined city/highway fuel efficiency rating of 6.2L /100 km. MSRP for ES-CVT is $15,058.
SE CVT
The most popular trim level, SE offers all the features of ES plus adds some significant new upgrades including 14” alloy wheels, 7” (up from 6” previously) Smartphone-Link Display Audio System with Android Autotm and Apple Car Play, as well as, a new integrated driver’s seat armrest. This top-level Mirage provides a feature loaded, desirable looking vehicle for a price of $20,158 (GT CVT).
Mitsubishi Warranties and Reliability
It makes a difference. Owners can count on a long ownership of their Mirage since all Mitsubishi Motors vehicles are backed by an industry leading 10-year (ten!) or 160,000-km limited powertrain warranty and a five-year or 100,000-km limited new vehicle warranty. Critical for peace of mind, Mitsubishi also provides five years of roadside assistance which will never leave you stranded!
While warranty is reassuring, owners can count on Mitsubishi’s reliability. Mitsubishi Motors was ranked sixth overall in the J.D. Power 2020 U.S. Initial Quality Study (IQS) published in June 2020. Mitsubishi was the top-ranked Japanese brand in the industry. As one of 33 brands evaluated across the industry, Mitsubishi experienced the greatest year-over-year improvement in ranking.
Total Cost of Ownership & Future Resale Value
In October 2020, Vincentric confirmed Mirage’s resale value by awarding Mitsubishi the overall Passenger Car Brand Category. Mitsubishi Mirage was awarded the Best Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) Value in Canada in the Subcompact Hatchback Segment.
Vincentric determines Value using a statistical analysis that incorporates the total cost of ownership and current market price of all CPO vehicles for the applicable model years. The Lowest CPO Cost to Own claim uses 5-year total cost of ownership to identify CPO vehicles that are best in class. Ownership costs are measured in the following areas: depreciation, insurance, fees and taxes, maintenance, financing, opportunity cost, fuel and repairs.
So customers can feel assured that Mirage will provide a low cost of ownership while they own the vehicle. And when their needs change to buy another vehicle, their Mirage will provide good resale value and the warranty is fully transferable to the new owner.
Who will be driving the 2021 Mirage? Canadians across the country from students to retirees and every family in between.
Yes, compact SUVs are great, but their price tag is naturally higher than the Mirage. Today, owners need to get from A to B and C and D in a stylish way they can afford. Mirage delivers an excellent alternative with a:
- Fuel sipping economy
- Loaded features list
- Exceptional good looks.
- Long warranty
- Roadside assistance for 5 years
The Mirage is Mitsubishi’s little engine that will.
